Cat back

Hey wondering if I install a catback exhaust, do I need anything other than bolts and gaskets? Any mounting pieces?

The new catback should come with all of that and you won't need anything else.

Stock or aftermarket? If stock then you only need to replace gaskets/bolts. Brackets too if they are rusty. If aftermarket it really depends on the quality of the company. I have an aftermarket catback that shakes a bit because it does not mount perfectly. I could add my own mounting spots but I just dont. Thats how aftermarket is.

Chrisman is right. But aftermarket parts can suck...like gaskets. They can start to break fairly quick. That why i used OEM ones.

The MES Kit comes with all that.... But you can always go with SCE copper gaskets from Summit or Stainless steel hdw from Ace Hardware....That's if you go the flanged route which i would highly recommend!

Or you can replace it with a muffler that im selling. Ill post up a sound clip of it as soon as i can. Wore it for less than 30 miles. Sounded insane but i had to take it off because of clearance issues.
