Cold start

whenever cold weather comes back I seem to have the same issue when I start my car in the morning or at the end of the day ( whenever it has not been running for at least a couple hours).
I crank, the car starts just to stall after a second or two...
The only way that seems to work is for me to rev up the engine at the same time as I crank the car... As if the engine was not getting enough gas to start...
what do you guys think?

If you insist on replacing the MAF find a OEM one the knock off ones kinda suck. Most of the time the MAF is fine

I have the same problem with mine. If you figure out the cause, please report back.

First thing I'd inspect is all the vacuum lines. Originals could be splitting open by now. Too much air in cold weather would certainly do that.

Second thing, and what Nissan added to make easy starts, especially in cold weather, is the IACV. Might as well clean the throttle body while there too.

See #2. The poster is no longer active so at least you can try to understand and follow his recommendation.

thanks all for your ideas. I have this car parked 800miles away from my place - in a different country - not being able to work on it yet. the cracks in the aspiration make sense and seem easy to spot, this is the first thing I'll look at when I go down. Or, I'll just bear with this as after all I'm just driving a 1k miles a year lately.
