Rear Wheel Bearings-Bearings or hub assembly?
I bought a salvage and am working on the brakes. I have finished the front; new caliper, rotor and pads. I am doing the rear and found the hub spins without any resistance. I have noise coming from that area when driving. I checked the parts store and they stated that I can only get a complete assembly rather than the bearing by itself. Anybody experience this? Any suggestions? These hub assemblies are pricey!!

I've heard rumors of the front and rear bearing being the same part. Never looked at it myself.

According to my 1997 FSM, the bearing can be replaced in the rear hub.

Get the #s off the old bearing and google/ebay/amazon.

It def can be replaced separately but I am not sure about the availability. Would suck to do the whole thing
