STS install issues...

so trying to install the STS and my nuts/bolts for the y pipe and cat are rusted.. im worried they will break and don't want to have to replace the whole exhaust...

any ideas of installing this without removing the y pipe n cat?

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the cat only. When I did my STS, I did.

Heat those bolts up with some MAP gas, and go for it. Then replace with new hardware.

You could undo the exhaust at the hangers from the cat to the muffler and let it hang to get some extra room.

I like seeing how much room you can get by hanging it but getting it back into position might be tough with 1 person. Just get under there and see how tough the bolts are, if they are then plan B
