radiator top mount
about a year ago I had a new radiator put in.
the top mount on both sides seems loose- that is the pin sticking up from the radiator itself is small in the hole from the "mount" that lays over the top of the radiator. you can move the radiator maybe 3/16 of an inch. is this good or bad?
mechanic uses napa and their stuff is mostly chinese so maybe the rubber part is wrong size or the mechanic left out a piece, should I put a rubber piece like from a rubber hose around it? of leave it as it is?
cant post a pix tho I have one

The radiator should be kept relatively right. The rubber inserts are only $2.74 @ Courtesy.
Even with the rubber inserts completely gone, I wouldn't expect any damage from the radiator being allowed to bounce around.

Wow! You were actually able to find rubbers in good condition at the junkyard? That was impossible when I needed to replace mine. I ended up scrounging up a couple of expandable freeze plugs laying around in the garage and using the rubber from those. Much better than oem rubbers.
