Sometimes you get stuck between a rock and a hard spot. And that is exactly where you are.

Patching a fuel tank is successful less than half the time. Part of the problem is what caused the tank to leak, part of the problem is where it is leaking, how big is the hole, etc. For a patch to work the best, it has to be on the inside so that the weight or pressure of the gas pushes on the patch. And that is pretty hard to do with a gas tank.

In most cases, removing the gas tank is needed in order to patch it.

Just bite the bullet and replace it.

It's on the front side my mechanic said its where the weld for the 2 hoses get clamped down. Going to try and patch if I can get it in there with out dropping it before I go and replace it. Thanks for the info Dennis.

You won't find any adhesive that will patch it. Speaking from experience.
