Vibration. Check engine light. Burning smell.
I posted a previous post about stalling and vibrations of my car. After reading the computer, the car gave off the P0306 code. "misfire on cylinder 6". I've changed all boots and spark plugs but still getting the vibration and burning smell. Any new suggestions?

Yes, COIL on plug.
But doesn't that indicate that a coil(s) are indeed present on the 4th gen VQ? Please don't confuse the OP, COILS are indeed present.
I believe AC Max was referring to the coil on the #6 cylinder and was correct in his advice on trouble shooting.
OP -
Move the COIL over to the next cylinder and see if the misfire follows it. If so, replace the COIL. If it doesn't, you could have a faulty fuel injector.

1st switch the coil with another one off the front cylinders
then check cylinder 6 for power by unplugging the coil
if no change then check the coil connector for power its supposed to have 12v with the key on if u got power to the connector, if u do have power then get a long flathead screwdriver nd put the flat head side on top of the cyl 6 fuel injector put the handle to your ear and listen for clicking if clicking then lastly just do a compression check

I truly thank you guys for all the responses. I apologize for the delay with getting back to you, work schedule has been pretty hectic. I change all 6 spark plugs and boots but my next task will be to change the actual coil pack on cyl #6. Money has been tight, so spending $100 on a coil pack hasnt been fit in the budget yet. Hopefully that does the trick, Last thing I need is Major Engine work.

As a side note, i bought the car with roughly 222, 300 mi ( horrible i know). She now has about 233,500 mi on her. Since trying to fix the issue, Ive only driven local miles on it ( Daughters bus stop and work, which are no more than 10 miles apart) I can tell its getting worse. Im honestly scared to drive it anymore but I have no choice until I gather funds. Any tips in the mean time?

If that's the only code your getting and you've already done the spark plugs the coil should do the trick. Just keep on top of regular maintainence and regular oil changes and you should be fine. High milage doesn't always mean it's bad especially if it was highway driven alot.

The coil pack was $20 on ebay, it's coming in the mail. I'm hoping this is the solution and not a fuel injector. I've recently ran into a crapload of trouble with the car and the burning is coming from an oil leakage under the hood. Engine was bone dry by the way. Any suggestions on what that may be?
