How to clean a cam shaft position sensor?

I recently noticed that my camshaft position sensor is leaking oil. I'm gonna pick up a new o-ring for it (if anyone knows the size, that would be great). I figured since I have it out, I'm gonna give it a cleaning. Does anyone know what type of cleaner I should use?
I have Throttle Body/MAF cleaner, and I'm picking up some MAF sensor cleaner too. Could I use one of these to clean the camshaft sensor, or should I buy another type of cleaner?
And in terms of the actual cleaning, how delicate is the sensor? Should I just spray it and wait to dry, or spray and wipe?
Thanks, guys.

Just wipe it with a paper towel.
Take the sensor to your local hardware store and match up a no-ring.

Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars and get the OEM part; I made the mistake of getting an o-ring that was 'very close' from a hardware store, probably made in the same Chinese gulag where Hungry Man dinners and Elmos and are slapped together. One year later, I had another leak; I got the real Nissan part this time, much better quality and it fits perfectly.

I didn't think these things should/could be cleaned other than the external wipe-off.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing. I just swiped it off with a rag.

When I disassembled the cam shaft position sensor, took it out and investigated, there was no O-ring installed. I guess whoever installed it last never out one on. I guess that explains the oil leak...
