how bypass the fog light switch?

i want to bypass my oem fog light switch and add my own push button switch.
Has anyone done this... It looks like the fog switch is just grounded for the fogs to work. I believe there Is also a fog light relay in side the car that leads to the switch.

Inside the column near the turn signal stalk should be a loose wire. Run that to a switch, and run another wire from ground to the opposite side of the switch.

This is just common sense and an educated guess, I may be wrong. If it is a switched ground circuit, this will work.

Why use a separate switch when you can use the OEM switch at will with a proper re wire?

I assumed he is retrofitting fogs and doesn't have the switch.

Splice into the Green/Orange wire going to your stalk, and run that wire to your switch. The other wire on the switch should be connected to a good chassis ground point. This will provide a ground to the fog light relay when you trigger the switch.
