Intermittent dashlighting problem

Recently purchased a clean 95 and after replacing the battery the clock climate and radio backlighting have been intermittent in functioning. All were fine prior to battery replacement. They come on and off intermittent lay so I would assume the fuses are ok as they do work just not all the time.

seems like a fuse problem. Check out your fuses

I agree with the suggestion about the fuse.

Chances are that the fuse is not actually blown.
But also that it's contacts are oxidated or corroded slightly. The deposits mean increased electrical resistance. Enough to dim lights, or trigger a cel code, like for the oxy sensors.

So I'd find the proper fuse, then sand the contacts slightly, or replace the fuse with a new one.
