Crank Position Sensor (CKPS POS) and flywheel position

Hey guys,

Doing a clutch job. Did the rear main seal while I was in there. (See my step by step walkthrough to install rear main seal here: https://maxima.org/forums/4th-genera...procedure.html )

So anyway, putting my car back together and I Just want to make sure - is there a certain position that the flywheel needs to be in? I didn't mark the position of the flywheel before I took it off. I just want to make sure that the gear teeth (cogs) of the signal plate are going to work correctly with the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) (POS). (The sensor that's on the front of the engine - it's mounted between the oil pan and trans and goes through the bell housing and points right towards the teeth (cogs) on the signal plate next to the ring gear.)

I'm hoping that the flywheel does not need to be in any certain timing position, after all there is no dowl pin dictating where that flywheel goes on the bolt circle.

Thanks!
