1996 Maxima Motor Mounts Question

1996 Maxima Motor Mounts Question
I'm going to be ordering a bunch of parts for my '96 Maxima GLE and new motor mounts are on the list.
My car is purported to have an electronic front mount; haven't verified, but since it's a GLE, I assume it has one. Problem is, those mounts are about 6 times the price of the standard ones.
What exactly does the electrical connector do? What happens if I replace with a standard mount, or will it not even fit? Rockauto shows both versions (electric and standard) each in two variants, one to 02/96 build date, and one for models prior to that. Mine is a 05/95 build, so I need the earlier version, but what is the difference?
Also, which mounts should I be replacing? I can see the front one (underneath in back of radiator), one on the side by timing cover, but I assume there's another in back somewhere. Should I replace all three? Are any of them a real challenge to replace, or is it the standard lift/jack motor up a bit, unbolt & put back on?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You might wanna get a Haynes manual or download the factory service manuals a reference.
The electronic MM's combat engine vibration hydraulically using oil filled MM and various orifices that open and close to smoothen engine transmitted to the cabin! Regular Auto can be installed as well as Manual mounts. You also have Energy Suspension that offer a Poly mount set for the front (Radiator) and rear (near firewall). there's the R/H motor mount near the timing cover and the L/H Motor mount at the transmission. Red Lion Racing offers all 4 mount in a poly material.
I can't tell you which ones to replace you can simply check that parked and possibly with heels chocked....place the can in drive at apply some throttle to visually check the motor for excessive movement. Good Luck
