Loose hoses behind MAF
Hey guys. My first post. Love the forum. I have a smaller hose that I can't connect to anything, and the larger hose looke like it's been taped up and came loose too. Any suggestions?

Just went through this with mine. The Wizard (Moderator here) was kind enough to let me know the smaller hose is nothing more than an air vent for the transmission and doesn't connect to anything.
The larger hose.... Well it's taped because they are around $60. I just bought one as mine shattered it was so brittle when working around it. (see the top of the picture where it mounts to the valve cover).
Hope this helps!

What exactly is the box the larger hose is going to from the valve cover? Wondering if it'll throw a flashing service engine code if its not hooked up securely. Thanks in advance again
