Now….brake lights stay on all the time

Yesterday I noticed that my brake lights stay on all the time. I did some searching and discovered that on top of the brake peddle is a small plastic stopper
that interacts with the switch and when the brake peddle is pressed it move this stopper away from
the switch which allows the brake lights to come on

I looked at the top of my brake peddle and, sure enough, this lititle plug is missing so I’m hoping someone can tell me what this little plug is called and where I can get one.

thanks in advance.

Under the seat?

Unless you cleaned it out or kicked it out, it's somewhere in the car......

Perhaps you could improvise one with a penny and some tape to hold it in place.

Pairters tape or electrical tape would work well.

its Called a brake pedal stopper. ‎Genuine Nissan Parts - Rubber-Stopper (46584-5P010)

However Dorman Sells them at any DIY store these days. Instock. I have improvised with a push clip. The ones from the trunk lid carpet work perfectly, temperoarly.
You should be able to walk into any autozone and pick them up in the help section.
