Spilled Transmission Fluid in Engine Bay
So I changed my transmission fluid today and while pouring the transmission fluid, the funnel fell over and I spilled a bit of fluid into the engine bay on the transmission side. The fluid got onto the transmission and also some hoses and plastic that are in the way. I drove the car and everything feels fine so far and most of the hoses and plastic have dried up. However, there are small puddles on the transmission itself. Is it ok if I leave it and let it dry by itself, or would it be necessary to degrease it? If so, can I use throttle body cleaner or mass air flow sensor cleaner to degrease it?

Trans fluid doesn't so much as dry up as much as it attracts dirt and becomes a messy sludge. Try to get as much of it up with a paper towel or rag, and then clean up the residue with some Dawn/soapy water. Brake cleaner would also work.
