Plenum bolt broke

I have a problem with the threads in the lower intake manifold. They look bad and are stripped out with a bolt broke in to it also. I was supposed to re thread the hole but now I cant and the bolt broke. I am just having bad luck with this whole entire issue. I have helicoil but I am hesitant on trying it out. I'm don't want anymore problems and I don't want to go to the junk yard.

Sounds like it is time to visit a trusted mechanic.

I was able to remove the broke off bolt and put a new one in easy that I got from a junkyard from same car. I used helicoil to fix the bolt hole. I torqued the bolts down using a torque wrench and my engine is STILL studdering like it's a coil pack issue but I can't find a bad coil pack. It's got brand new plugs and injectors. I thought the plenum was not torqued enough. I guess I will have to find a trusting mechanic. No check engine light anymore btw. I have had bad O2 sensor code back when the car wasn't running well at all and was undrivable. I have also had a bad crankshaft position sensor code but I feel like all these codes it threw because the engine wasn't running well not that the engine runs better the codes are not returning so I feel they were false positive codes. Anyone feel free me too your opinion. Thanks
