What is the best ACTUAL HID Bulb?

Ok guys, I am going to be doing a little experimenting with this extra headlamp assembly I have. What is the best actual HID bulb, not a look-a-like HID bulb, but an actual HID bulb? Also, what is the best high beam bulb to use? Thanks guys

The best HID capsules are made by the >>

manufacturers of the best halogen bulbs. Philips, Sylvania and Osram are the brands one should look for.

So the best bulbs to get are aftermarket? What about the HIDs in the higher end cars?

Well HIDs aren't technically bulbs like normal headlights are. They have no filament. Are you aware you are going to end up spending ALOT of money for real HIDs? I'm not talking about $100 here, I'm talking at least $500. As for which one is best I have no clue.

Well you need a ballast and wiring to hook the HID bulb up. I cna hook you up with a HID kit at 800k made by Osram Sylvania, and Autolite bulbs, or a 5400k bulb from Xenarc for less. The 8000k kit i can do for $525 with my personal discount at my friends store. These are BLUE, 5400 is purplish, and 4300 is bright white, almost bluish/purple.

Are most likely made by Philips, Sylvania or Osram.
