Replaced sway bar and end link bushings

I have been noticing excessive body roll in corners lately. Last night I replaced the OEM sway bar and end link bushings replacing them with Energy Suspension bushings. My Max has 99,700 miles and the suspension is stock. The old end link bushings were hard and starting to crack. The sway bar bushings were cracked, almost to the point of disintegrating. In fact the passenger side sway bar bushing came out in four pieces!

After I installed the Energy Suspension bushings I took my max out for a test ride. I headed into the first corner and there was noticeable improvement in body roll. I didn't think $24 could go so far in reducing body roll.

This mod worked so well for me it got me thinking about replacing the struts/shocks and springs. So I ordered KYB AGX, H&R springs, and all the OEM parts I need to replace. Hopefully everything will be in and installed by next weekend. I can't wait!

I bought the bushings from courtsey nissan parts. They are listed on the links page. On the courtsey nissan parts site click on the energy suspension link.

You will need four of PN 4803G and one PN 7-5118G (2 piece set). PN 4803G are the end link bushings and PN-7-5118G are the sway bar bushings.

Sounds like a great performance for the $ mod. Glad to hear there was an improvement!

Re: But where did you get the FSB?...

The front sawy bar is standard on the Max. I think he just replaced the bushings. Not the bar itself.

I posted this back in the summer. When I put the AGX's in my car I also replaced the end link bushings. At 30K they were all compressed, I can't imagain what they'd look like at 99K For the 30 bucks, you can't go wrong replacing them. Keeps the front end from rolling.
