Did a little research and saw some picks of it. Really looks like a smaller 7 series. I-drive will be available for it. YEAHHHHH

For sure, the new one blows goat, (not that the last one didn't blow too, but this one blows more)... I hated the last 7-series cuz they just looked like a stretched out 5-series...

In a write-up in Autoweek magazine they were commenting on how the i-drive takes the drivers attention away from the road. This is the opposite of what it's supposed to do. They said it's distracting to have to scroll through multiple screens to do something simple like adjust the climate control. Just seems like too much electronic this and that, BMW's are supposed to be about driving, not technology for the sake of technology. I also have to say that I don't like the new 7's body too much. I have seen a few in the last couple of weeks on the road. I couldn't afford one anyway and if I could I'd get an M5 instead!

I'm not talking to ANY of you!

Little did I expect when I started this thread that BMW 330 and M3 owners would pop up and gloat. Now I'm jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous, jealous....

Well, one more year... just one more, and I'll be driving one too.

I pray that I-drive wont catch on. Anyone that has used it knows that it is plain stupid. BMWs is know for their vehicles driving characteristics. This technology in my opinion distracts the driver from the road. Also, I think that BMW should fire Chris Bangle because he is ruining the company. I hope they dont ruin theupcoming 5 and 3 series.
