Strip off the A-pillar and see where the leak is coming from. It may be the front window.

That or the sunroof if you have one.

It could be the drain tube coming from the sunroof, it runs down the a pillar.

i had the same problem, and it turned out it was the sunroof. one of the tubes running down the A pillar was clogged with crap, and it leaked right into the pillar. it cost me $400 to get repaired. good luck

WHERE exactly is the "A Piller"?

I'm also having a water leak.

During moderate or heavy rain there is a spot about the size of a dime that gets saturated and begins to drip onto my left thigh.

The exact location the best I can describe it is near the top of the window on the drivers side but it's not part of the door. I guess you could say it was at 11 o clock from the drivers perspective.

I imagine it could be coming from either the windshield or the sunroof.

Is this something I should take to the dealership?

Any chance I could fix this myself?

Just curious.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

the A pillar is the pillar between the windshield and the door. dont take it to a dealer, they will rip you off. find a private shop and go there. i doubt you could do it yourself. read my post above yours.

i took it to a private shop. it cost about $400, and i was happy with their work. dont put this off. the water that leaked in wrecked my speakers and left water stains on the A pillar
