installed cai

i installed the cai a while ago i am not driving the cart right now, but the filter is hitting the fender lining....i cut the hole in the right spot i am positive on this so that is eliminated....there is a slight bend in the lower intake tube when it comes thru the fender wall, it makes a slight bulge in the lining.....but in pics i have seen it is like 2-3 inches from the lining....any help or suggestions??? thanks.....ross

Try turning the CAI tubes so that the lower tube points straight down or even away slightly from the fender lining. I was pretty careful with my install (it took 7 hours) and my filter comes close to the fender lining as well. Just make sure that the filter is clamped onto the intake tube good and tight and you should be fine.
