Has anyone put in the factory fog lights. I have 96 GLE and it seem I would have to cut out the spot where they go. My nissan dealership shows a fog light kit for me to buy, but the can not tell me is in the kit and if I order it I cannot return it. I need fogs....any help.....I would be grateful.

 

Yes you can put OEM fogs in ur max, and if you look hard enough, all the wiring is there for you, its plug and play install, jus have to change the headlight stalk. I would say stop by http://www.courtesyparts.com and e-mail 'em for a price for the fogs for maxima.org member.

 

I did it on my 95 GLE and the hardest part is cutting the holes in the bumper. Just get a very sharp knife and the rest is easy. They come with templates so cutting out the holes is not too hard.

 

The dealership won't let you return it?? That's nuts. Don't buy from that dealership. Try courtesy nissan. They are very reputable and have decent prices.

I installed my stock fogs myself and it was pretty easy. The bumper cutting is the hardest part. Basically, you have to cut the bumper and mount the lights. Then install the relay under the hood. Then you have to install a new signal light stalk (with the foglight switch). Everything is included with the foglight kit.
