Prelude Roadkill

I was driving on the hwy minding my own business doing about 100kph, about 60mph, and some dumbass prelude, latest style, was tailgating me. Well, needless to say he ****ed me off. Well, I thought I'd let him pass me and I pulled over to the right hand lane. When I pulled over to let him pass, I thought to myself, why should I? So, as he was accelerating to pass me ,I floored it. We were even till about 120kph, about 70mph, then I started pulling away slowly, by the time we hit 170kph, I was about a car and a half ahead of him. Those things are quick, but no match for the MAX!

my best friend is always talking trash about how quick his 6th gen quelude is, and how slow and heavy my max is......so it was time to dispell any misunderstandings. My 97 SE 5 spd with just a Stillen intake wiped its *** with his car.....twice. We're talking like a car length from a complete stop. And he has an AEM CAI. I actually felt bad...oh well. He knows for next time...

Like 2 nights ago some Prelude also the new style kind was playing with me maintaining speed as I go.....We pull up to the stop light and it turns Green....He took off first and then I followed....He pulled in front of me about 1/2 a car and then as we approached like 40mph I started pulling on him pretty hard too about 1 car length, then I had to shut it down.....pulled into the next parking lot and there was 2 cops sitting right there...Whew... I believe it is a auto standard model....Damn that V-Tec is loud....

Don't know if he was an SH. He didn't get a chance to pass me! Besides, no diff in power and speed between SH and reg prelude, just handling.

Maybe it was an auto Prelude?

Btw, from what I heard, the SH is a tad slower than the regular base model because of the added weight of the ATTS system.

I second that...the SH is heavier than the S with no difference in hp.

Doesn't have to be an auto for a 5-speed Maxima to waste it.

And I'm pretty sure an auto Max would do fine against an auto Prelude (and at least put up a fight against a standard).
