96 trim level

96 trim level

i just checked out a 96 maxima 5 speed, but i was too much in a rush to ask the trim level. (i only had a minute) so is there anything that i can use to distinguish the gxe from the gle and se? thanks everyone. peace

defenitly not a gle, they only came in auto., as for SE's visually they have the white gauges, fog lights, and spoiler for stock, but every thing can be optioned on a gxe, except fot the white gauges, so if it had the white gauges its an SE, if not then its a GXE. hope this helps

The easiest way to tell...

Do you have body colored door handles? If so, it's an SE. If not (like in my sig pic) it's a GXE. GLEs are only available in automatics.

alright well that helps a bunch actually. i wasnt paying to much attention to the guages- but it mighta been black. um, this car (96 5 speed) was 7,995' with like 69K miles. do you think this is a good deal? my bro payed uh, 9500 for his 95 SE automatic with like 85K miles.(soon to be mine maybe) So im kinda thinkin this deal with the '96 is kinda good. but if you dont think so, just tell me

oh- thanks alot. the car didnt have body colored door handles. so i guess its a gxe. i always thought gxe was base model- but i guess everyone makes mistakes. um, so can anyone tell me if that deal i mentioned is good or not...?
