Replaced sensor... Still get CEL

My CEL was 0407. Crankshaft position sensor. I replaced it and it went off. The next time I started my car, it came back on. I dont get it. I have an UR Underdrive Pulley. Does that set of the sensor? Any help?

Oh SH**!...

...I remember the last time I got that code was when it was accompanied by an (ignitions code CEL, ignition/misfire code and right bank lean code)

To make along story short. It ended with changing out my ignition coils, I had the dealer change out all 6. Never had a problem since.

Do some more searches on this one but make sure that you are reading all the codes off the panel. Good luck.

Re: Oh SH**!...

I agree - it might be something along the lines of ignition coils, etc. The crankshaft sensor itself isn't necesarily the problem - its just the first thing affected by whatever problem lies beneath the hood. In otherwords, if you're running lean or rich, there's no lean/rich sensor - it'll be picked up by the knock sensor or crankshaft sensor, or something else.
