I just saw the commercial for this thing. hmm.. what you think? It makes the skyline tails seem not so important anymore.

I think GM does a poor job in trying to duplicate it.

The problem I have is, they did copy it..

 

when i saw it on the commercial i only had a quick glance
and wasn't sure about the skyline tailights
but today i saw one on the streeet
looks jus like those skyline tails on the org...the
painted altezzas

 

Chevy Needs to burn in hell just for the creation of this moving trash can the first time I saw one at a dealer I was at a mitsubishi dealer looking at the new Lancer and theres a chevy dealer next to it I turned around and booom there the damn thing was what the hell where they thinking oooo man was I ****ed because i'm a very very big fan of the skyline and nothing will change that not even that moving waste can that even looks like a skyline so everytime I see those moving waste cans I just put up my hands like a cross and hiss like a cat because cats hate evil people well thats all I have to say about that garbage can

P.S. The creater or designer of this car needs a good azz kicking and i'm sure that all of you maxima/skyline lovers out there would like to too! Anyone got a spare shotgun that I can use to well you know.

 

How much whip lash will i get turning around because i think there's a skyline heading away from me? maybe i can file a lawsuit based on this...

It had circular lights, that were not body color around them.. It did not resemble the skyline then.. go look at some pics

 

actually that pic has been around for a long time, someone had a sig that had a picture of a max+altezzas=that pic

that impalla rear end was designed with some influence of the corvette...not the skyline...

 

ahha i was right

 

maybe, since they are both chevy, but the corvettes lights are more oval and not as large. it would makes sense but to me it looks more like skyline lights. and i bet if i were to paint altezzas on my car, people would say that it looks like the impala- not the corvette or the skyline so..

 

And as we all know, what other people say and think is the most important opinion as far as car styling goes.

I think if you wanted the painted altezza look before this, chevy releasing an impala with similar tails is quite a weak reason to sway "your opinion".

 

I am pretty sure that is the original and not the corvette. I'm also guessing Nissan copied it from Ferrari.......

 

IMO painted ricetezzas look more like "Impala A$$" then "Skyline A$$" because the Skyline's taillights' inner circle is a lot smaller than the outer circle.
