Question: Installing Carbon Fiber Vent Surroundings

I'm ordering the carbon fiber vent surroundings for the dash on my 2K3 max. My question is, do the aftermarket surroundings install on top of the current ones, or do I have to remove the oem surroundings first?? Will it look flush with the rest of my dash??

they go on top of the factory pieces..they are not replacements..
