2k2/2k3 HIDS = 6000k or 8000k
IMO, I think all HIDs used in OEM applications are around 4300K-4500K. The color is dependent on the housing. Also, it's dependent on whether you are using projectors or reflectors. Take the A4, X5 (projectors) and TLs and Maximas (reflectors), different colors.
No, Audi and BMW (some) are using higher K burners. The color is from the choice of which metallic stuff used in the burner, not whether its reflector or not, case in point the Acura - reflector and blue-ish.

My Gf's TL HID is not blue at all. It still has a touch of yellow in it.

She has a 2002 TL. It's a very nice white, however, you can still see a pinch of yellow in there...
