Couple Problems

When i start my car, usually in the morning, as the revs go over 1500 there is a quick grinding noise for about 1 1/2 seconds before the revs drop to about 1100-1200. Oh, it's an automagic.

Also my stock "alarm" has gone off randomly a couple times. I already checked the dome light thing that caused others cars to do that. Any help is appreciated.

Timing chain rattle. Several discussions around this noise in the forum already.

Check your hood alarm switch...check to see if there are debris in it. Sometimes wet debris can short out that switch to cause the alram to go off...

Thanks guy/gals, i'm getting it checked out today. My dealership is actually being really cool, at least to my face. When i told him about that stuff (i was taking it to get an oil change), he said they'd run through the TSB's about my car. I know they won't, but it was nice for them to pretend they gave a $H!T.

Me too

I get it EVERY once and a while....sometimes if the clutch is not fully engaged (pedal to the floor) the engine hesitates to start, and then grinds a little too.

Chalk it up.
