Let me ask a crazy question but what companies make springs for the new 2002 Maximas. I know Eibach has the sportline kit and I believe Ground control. Not sure of any others. Any input would be appreciated.

Also I know H and R makes nice cushy springs what springs are you guys using that comes close to a stock ride?

H&R's here but the drop isn't that much but ride quality is OK.

I'm using Maxspeeds.

There is or just was a 5th gen group deal on Maxpseeds for $85.
If that's done I found mine on ebay for $99. Various online retailers sell them anywhere from $130 to $200.

just FYI, Eibach makes the pro-kit for our cars. not the sport-kit.

any springs that fit a 2000 or 2001 maxima will also fit a 2002 or 2003.

same suspension set up then , I saw some comments that the suspension was different thats the reason why I asked. I did read on a magazine that Eibach had a Sportline kit. I guess the editors of SS or SCC magazines made a wrong comment. It was featured 5th gen with some big wide tires and a nice drop.

What mag and month was that? I get them both, but only the last few months...

I'd wet mysled seeing a maxima featured in either of those.

That was like two years ago. Which mag it was I am not sure. I leaning more towards superstreet. The vehicle had 265/35 18 or 19s rear tires on it. It was a grey 5th gen.

H&Rs are by far the highest of all of those you listed. they are rated to be lower than maxspeeds and eibach but in reality that is not true. maxspeed and eibach will drop your car more than H&Rs.

I second that for eibachs being lower than H&R as for maxspeed never seen a max dropped with them in person. SR20DEN has eibachs and is about 1/8 lower in front and almost equal in the rear but his is still a little lower.

Just put on Eibach Pro's on my '02. Drop is about 1.25", the only thing I would recommend doing is to cut the bump stop in the rear by the recommended 25mm or so. I didn't at first and it bottomed out too easily, so the next day, i cut them and it's been great. The front bump stops can be left alone. Ride is a little stiffer, but not as bad as my I-30 (Aerospeeds on that) but not as smooth as the Nuespeeds on my TL (progrssively wound).
