Is that just the grille molding without the actual grille inside? I'm confused as to what is being auctioned off there. Our grilles can only be removed if the entire front bumper is taken off, or if it's cut-out. I don't understand how this "replacement" would be installed. I wouldn't bid on it.

That is just the grill trim ring. It has like 8 screws. I actually hooked up grille up to that and cut the excess Street Scenes grille to get it to fit.

heya bigdog!
my trim kit and the centerstack (the thing that holds the nissan emblem) are one...molded together . I wonder how you can hook that up to the bumper if you cut out the factory one...

BigH you sure yours are one piece? The only ones that are one piece are the 2k2s but they have a totally different size opening, it is larger in the height.

Unless the Canadian maxes are like that, but I doubt that highly. The trim ring is held by those 8 screws, what you are supposed to do is cut AROUND those screw holes/mounts. If you cut them off, obviously aint nothing going to hold it up no more.

I'm soooo confused...I'll check in the morning. I thought 2k and 2k1's need to be cut out, and the 2k2's were removable and required no cutting...
