TSB PDF's at NHTSA Website
Anyone interested in getting a PDF printout off the NHSTA site had better do it soon. I received a response from the NHTSA Webmaster today to my comment regarding the great benefit of having the PDF's on-line and why some TSB's didn't get the same treatment.
He wrote:
"Yeah, I like 'em too but someone is saying they're copyrighted and we can't have them on-line like this. I don't know what the final outcome will be but at least nobody's told me to take 'em down yet. There are some errors but I can't justify working on fixing things until I know if they'll stay up."

If the copyright restriction is true, isn't it crazy that a government agency that's set up to protect the public can't freely publish the corrective info the manufacturers are required by law to send in?
