maxflo is a mother fukken idiot.. and I'm saying this in the nicest way possible. The original post was this:

Anyone raced with a RSX-type S in their 2k2 6spd?
What's the result, stock to stock....?

So why the HELL is he talking about modded/unmodded. Maxflo are you really that incompetent. Can you not read the original post? No one ever brought up mods or anything and you start throwing all this crap into the argument. Before you respond to what I just said I'd suggest you quit while you're behind. The more you respond the bigger an *** you make out of yourself. so payce out foo

What I'm wondering is: Why don't thread like these with childish idiotic people from OTHER forums coming in and starting **** get locked? Lock it, it'll all be over. This little newbie will get his *** handed to him soon enough and then he'll respect (or if not, too bad) the Max.

I posted a message earlier today on the first page and it's ALREADY at 6 pages. How come when a Maxima owner asks a question and needs help, people aren't this responsive. Come on fellow Max owners, let this idiot live in his world, let's show him we're not little kids (being 21 I still consider myself a child in many respects) and we can move on.

well i have an auto 2k2 GLE with frankencar intake and cattman catback exhaust, and one person was willing to race me. he has a 2k2 rsx-s with intake and exhaust. im not sure if its catback exhaust.. most people say that i will win, but i dunno. got an auto. so we will see what the results will be.. and i will try to record it... this will be the first time racing foreal... im not doing this to prove anything, but just to have fun. but since this topic was brought up, and say it was a very CLOSE race, then i will assume the 2k2 6spd max will beat an rsx-s. BUT don't TAKE MY WORD. its only MY OPINION. ill tell you what happened after we race!!!!!

You will win, trust me, I raced one with my auto stock 5 times and won every single time, make sure you have a good take off though, because it is hard not to spin in our maxe's

can't i just brake torque??? cuz i reallie don't wanna race shifting manually and messing up the tranny for just one race. cuz its shifting funky right now. but i think i can still beat him!!!! if i beat a sooped up civic, then i can beat an rsx-s hahahahahahah lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If i'm not mistaken you actually mess up your tranny faster by brake torquing than manually shifting.

Here are the FACTS

Maxima wins straight line
RSX-S wins cornering

RSX has more aftermarket support

Maxima is a Sedan
RSX-S is a Coupe

Maxima is Nissan's Flagship Sedan
RSX-S is Acura entry level sports Coupe

Apples and Oranges
I don't see WHY people would get CRAZY comparing.

Let me put you in perspective,
Lexus GS430 Vs. IS300

GS430 will take IS300 anytime in stock form on the Street.

IS300 will take GS430 on a track w/ corners because its more nimble.

You get my drift??

maxflo seems to be an honda fanatic, c'mon a rsx looks like a circumsized 98 accord coupe, anyway we maxes will stick to racing cars in our class like camrys, accords, taurus, grand prix u know the cars maxes were built too beat the F out of, go find a sunfire, focus or a eclipse forum, u want to mess with nissans go F with a 96 300zxtt and get your A$$ fried. oh yea my cousin just sold his beloved s2000 FOR A 350Z!!

I cant believe you guys are paying Maxflo ANY mind!

I've driven my friend's RSX-S. And while its relatively quick (as in it will smoke a Spec V) it will NOT walk ANY 2K2+ Maxima. The best track times I've seen came from my friend who managed a 15-flat with a CAI. (NOTE: Subsequently, he traded his 8 month old RSX-S for a 2 y/o S2000 and can now roll low 14s consistently.)

Funny post. I needed this, today.

Sorry no, they do not hold value. Look at the bluebook on them

I only had my Maxima for barely 1 year, and it had only 16k of miles. I got 16k for it at all the dealers in town I went too. MSRP was 29k, I got it for 26k. Due to all the discounts, etc on the new maximas and cars, they seriously hurt the resale value on the Maximas.

You know why....because it's PhatGuy...what do you expect.

Can you run a CarTest sim on the RSX-S vs. VQ30DE and VQ30DE-K for us?

Yeah I'll do it when I get home. I ran one vs a VQ30DE 5spd and the VQ had the lead up until the 1/4 mile where they were dead even, and the RSX-S had a few MPH higher trap. So the break even point was the 1/4 mile and then the RSX-S walked away. DE-K top-end would probably level the score though.

I think that is very true. If you guys remember back when I posted my race with a RSX type-s, this is exactly what happened. You people were hammering me for not being able to beat the RSX type S. At least someone knows what I am talking about. The HP and torque in our maxi just wont out run a RSX type-S that easy. Anybody can beat a RSX type S if the driver can't shift..................

If you get time, thanks.

BTW, can you point me in the direction on what you use for all your dyno sims?
