I have about 3500 miles on my 2001 auto SE and have not had any problems yet. On the Edmunds board, some people are complaining about the usual squeaks and rattles. I don't know if the fuel cut issue that was prevalent on the 2k 5 speeds has been taken care of. The new Sentra SE is pretty sharp, but why did you trade it in for a Sentra? What types of problems did you have? At what age are you considered an 'old folk'?

I have been part of this club for 5 yrs, meaning I am one of the oldies here and a few others. I had tranny issues with my 2k mainly and strut popping problems. I was gonna go back to school, but that changed so I didn;t need to cut back in my car. The sentra is way to small for me, I miss the max, and gotta have it again.

I knew you werent gonna hold your love for the car inside you. Did you sell your aftermarket parts along with the car, or do you still have them?

By the way, does anyone want to help me? I have the dizzy spells.

Got my max in November and have 1500 miles on it. No problems to report(keeping my fingers crossed though. The fuel cut issue still exists, seems the ecu is exactly the same as 2k. Also, one difference I noticed (shopped for both the 2k and 2k+1) are the steering mounted radio controls. Love the car so far!
