2k2 Owners with tranny probs

I'm trying to get my tranny replaced cus my 3rd gear just grinds and grinds and grinds but i'm sure my local dealers will tell me the usual, "we've never heard of this before" bull$hit. so what i'm looking for from you guys is just documentation from anyone that has had their tranny replaced. please post here or email me and i will give you a number where you can fax the info. thanks in advance.

I'd love to help you but mine was replaced for a bearing noise. Why won't your dealer replace it? My dealer let me take their head tech for a ride and show him the noise. He called the tech line and Nissan said replace the whole thing. 3 days later they said it was in and I dropped car off in the morning and picked it up the next day. I know what did it to the tranny and would tell you privatly if you want, but I dont want everybody to know.

Mine slips 1st to 2nd, now the car is really sluggish. Only slips when its really cold out. I have a trans cooler, but no help. Everytime I bring it to a dealer and take the service manager on a ride with me it doesn't do it. What to do. Chris
