THE REAL QUESTION

Man, what did I do? I typed my question and when I clicked submit, the whole text is gone! Anyway, my question is:

When you open your glove box on a 5th gen, should there be light from inside? I opened mine and it didnt light up.

I believe the glove box light will only activate when the headlight is switched on.

Yeah... I remember noticing that, and thinking that it was very clever :-)

Now if Nissan only put as much thought into securing HIDs we'd be all set!!!

Sorry I was typing in a hurry. The light in my 2000 comes on when you open the glove box, only when the parking light or HID's are on. Thats what I meant by that mine works that way also.
