Never in a Camry Again
Never in a Camry Again
Hello all. Brought in my car for the 60k mile service tuneup. Brought in my own oil and plugs... but I left it overnight to get worked on early in the morning. so i rented a car. I got a 2002 Camry. I was about to cry cause I wanted my max back. Sorry for all those who like camry's but I hated it. It was spacious inside but the drive was horrid. Steering wasnt as nice as the max. Oh I could go on... lol. So glad to have my max back
Thought I'd share my thoughts for the night

my mom drives a 99' camry, and its one of the crappiest sedans I've driven, for the price range at least. Given our's is a 4 banger, I wouldn't expect much from the 132 (or whatever it is) hp engine, but the handle is worse than any car I've driven. The body roll is scary and the tires squel even tho I'm turning super slow. So yea, never again will I ever buy a Camry. Since they began to be manufactured in America, I think they were never the same. My buddy has a 96' V6 Camry, built in Japan, that has had absolutely no problems at all. Runs great, accerates decently, handles fine.
