Who removes their rims in the winter?

I usually remove my aftermarket rims in the winter due to the fact that i live in CT and the salt, sand and snow ususally is everywhere. The thing is i hate my stock rims and would love to just keep them on and maintain them a little bit more in the winter as long as i know they will be alright. Do any of you guys remove your rims or just keep them on during the nasty winter months but take extra special care of them. Just curious i guess or just looking for an excuse to put my Evo's back on!

I keep mine on through our freezing 50 degree winters.

I hear you about the winter being punishing to rims, I live in CT too. I have steel rims / winter tires that work out very well. Don't want to destroy the alloys.

I heard some horror stories about our stock 17s not being treated very kindly in some tire mounting machines, I bought nissan 16" five-spokes for winter rims... As much as you like your Evos, how would you like to replace them? Keep the winters on, at least through the bad parts (which so far has been Dec to... uhh, today).

I am frequently around the Newington area. If you see a Sheer Silver 2k3 Max with steel rims (I know, they are ugly), its probably me.

I live in CT as well, but I leave mine on. I just clean them regularly. I can't stand driving on the potenzas, i feel like i am going to slide right off the road.
