Mine was a 98-up Firebird TA. Must have been a bad driver, cause my stock GLE crushed it bad. I knew the guy was racing me because I heard his way 2 loud exhasut going at it. Or maybe he underestimated my car. I was shocked that I won!

Yeah...the Stangs are usually easy prey for the Max, even the mildly modded ones.

Now, if I could just beat a Z28!

14.3 is enough to take out an auto Z28 and hang with a stick too. Should be close w/ either one.

Mine are the small everyday races against all the Hondas powered by Neuspeed stickers and people that swear to God they can drive.

Mine is my uncle's Impala SS for sure. I know they're big AND heavy but he has the old school mentality that a six can't beat an eight. I spanked him from 0-60, and several different rolling speeds. Once we were up at 125 and I could see him starting to creep on me a little but we ran out of road. I will concede he probably has a higher top end than me. His car has an intake and full exhaust and I'm sure he's doing more work on his car for our next meeting this summer (he's in Conn., I'm in Florida).

Nothing special with the maxima, yet...

BUT, back when i had my '88 Toyota Supra turbo (sports roof, automatic, dynoed at 256rwhp and 316ft-lbs, 14.50s@98mph with fuel cut off between shifts)...i was just having a grand ol' time one summer night, the roof was off, my friend and I were just cruising along minding our own business when this early 90s Mustang 5.0 and some big burly hispanic redneck type guy starts shouting: "Hey, what kinda rice you burning in that thing?! Hey, what's that riceburner got? Why don'tcha show me some of that rice?!?!"... at first, I wasn't going to race this guy (we were in a 35mph zone and i have gotten nabbed on that street many of times), but, he just kept shouting and blah blah. So, there was a green light up ahead. I pointed to it, and the guy shut up, preparing for the ensuing race. I speed up to 40mph to get up to where the turbo will spool quicker (lag sucks) and as i cross the intersection I step on it as he WOTs too. He jumps about a foot ahead at first, then the turbo spools, 11psi kicks in, a little bit of tire spin and away i went. I'm waving for him to catch up, no can do...I let off at about 85mph where i had about a 3 car lead or more. I slow down, i ask him if he missed a shift, and all he wanted is a rematch...Then some older camaro races him, also punishing him. That has to be one of the more happy races that the Dawg (Supra) has won. But, of course, my Dawg was a bit ricey (pic below)...which made it even more sweeter to give it to the rustang.

I'd have to say my best race was against a yellow Type R at the track in front of a lot of Honda boys. Looking at the video (no less), he ran a 15.4@93 to my 15.1@93 and he even got a better 60 foot!! What's great is you hear a guy on the video say, "no way!!! That Max only has 190hp!!." Later in the the day I ran a 14.9@94 against a 95 Mustang GT with a couple mods that ran a 15.0@92mph.

my most memorable were two accords...

different times, same freeway. both were totally fixed up w/ body kits, lights, the works. one of them was the new accord two door w/ HUGE dual exhausts. i love it when i beat them.. cause i know they spent a lot of money on that body and exhaust.. hehe.. i have an intake, apex muffler, and stillen y-pipe, but what REALLY adds the power is the small stillen stickers on the bottom of my rear doors! 8)
