2K2 tranny slipping?

I tried search, but didn't see anything that exactly described my problem. I have a 2002 SE Auto with 44,000 miles on it ( I drive a lot, obviously). For the last couple of months, when I really get on it, the upshifts happen like I was badly slipping the clutch on a manual. When it gets ready to shift, instead of just snapping into the next gear, the revs go up, and the thing feels like it takes forever to get into the next gear. Is this the sames problem as the tranny problems on the 2000 models?

Have you flushed out the original tranny fluids? If you haven't, I suggest that you should get it done soon. I got mine flushed at 12K w/Redline synthethic. The tranny shifts much smoother especially when the engine or the weather is cold.
