So I had the TSb repair done about 10 days ago on my 2000 GLE. Fixed the problem shifting from 2nd to 3rd, but first to 2nd seems to hesistate - can't really say slipping - but fairly obvious delay.

I checked on here and talked to Nissan and they said check A/T fluid.

So I'm sitting in a parking lot following the directions in the Owners Manual for DIY fluid checks.

I put it in each gear and just lightly touched the accelerator - RPMs no higher than 2K.

When in P and N I can hear fluid "gurgling" in the engine? What the hell is that?

A/T level looked good - I guess I will return to the dealership.

I swear this car is one of biggest POS on the road - everyone on this board talks about how great the VQ engine is - well it does not really matter much if the transmission is f'ed up most of the time and the brakes can barely stop the car without shaking your head off. Yes, I have that repaired too.

I guess Nissan spent their whole budget on engine parts and bought the rest of the components from the junk yard.
