I looked for several months to replace my Ford Probe GT with something faster, quieter, almost as sporty(too harsh on long rides) and some luxury. I found the maxima fits the bill. I just picked up my new maxima and look forward to years of driving it.

Congrates

Henry,
Great choice! I've had my Max for 2 months now with no troubles!
Maximam,
Why not put in the SC now, and if anything happens, just pull the SC out and take it back to the dealer? I have done this in the past with other cars... is there something that the dealer can look at and tell that you had the SC installed on the car?

Anniversary Edition?

Majestic Blue, eh?

I guess that means you bought the Anniversary Edition - unless you can get that color on the normal SE in Canada.

It is one sweet car.

Give us the rest of the specs.

Hi Henry,

Congrats on your new Max from a fellow Toronto 01 SE AE driver. Love that Majstic Blue colour, but decided on Sterling Mist because my last three cars have all been dark colours. See you on the road.

Congrats on the new purchase. Compared to the old Ford, your Max should feel like a Rolls Royce!

I also bought a 2001 Maxima (SE AE 5SPD) as a follow-up to my 94 Probe GT. They are both great cars, possesing super-smooth V-6 engines and decent suspensions right out of the box. My Max only has 388 miles on it, so I haven't been able to wring it out yet. Can't wait!

In Canada the SE model only comes in the AE version fully equipped with almost every option. The options are Manul or AutomaticT.
