ATTN: for all that installed a RSB

Do you guys hear more road noise now? I swear I hear more road noise since I've installed the RSB. And not just by a small amount, I'd say the interior noise level increased by at least a couple of dB's.
Anybody else have this problem?

Impossible that the RSB caused more road noise. Your senses are now more attuned to everything. That's the mod bug!

road noise

The only way I could see potentially hearing more road noise would be if you did not install it tightly. I don't mean its flopping around as much as it might be vibrating in tune with the road conditions. Of course it could be flopping around and that would explain a lot of noise

The only noise you may hear is the infamous clunk of the addco bar, this is from the brackets not being installed far enough in. That can be fixed, but there should be no excess road noise.... I owned both the Stillen and Addco, I didn't get any more road noise.

I have no more road noise after the install of my Stillen RSB. Check installation IMO.

make sure the RSB is not installed too close to the large joint where the rear beam pivots... if you installed the brackets in the wrong location, you may have this problem... this is with the Stillen bar.

Depends, do you want it just for the performance gains or do you wnat it to perform better while also looking very good. If your choice is the first, then the ebay bars will do just fine. If you want it to look good also, then i suggest either the Bomz strut bar which is a very nice polished look (almost chrome) or get the Otto racing strut bar which is identical to the stillen bar(i have this one), or you could just buy the Stillen for $175 or go to the classified sections, someone is selling a new stillen bar discounted.

as long as the $14 eBay FSTB won't rust in 5 years, I'll be happy.

do I need to worry about it rusting? or if I want that kind of quality do I need to step up to a Stillen?

thanks for the reply.

that's fine with me, I guess I'll get a $15 ebay FSTB

thanks
