I'm looking for some replacement bulbs for the stock fog lights on my 2k2..hopefully something more white to match the HIDs more closely. Any suggestions? I'm not looking to do a HID conversion for them.. just some whiter bulbs.

PIAA Xtreme White H3 bulbs look real nice in the foglights and give off a crisp white light. I love mine and find myself driving around at night with just my foglights on because I love their light output.

I agree the PIAA Xtreme White H3 bulbs are the way to go. A little pricey but worth it. You can put in PIAA in any search engine and you will get tons of results.

I also have the PIAA Extreme white foglight bulbs. Great match for the HIDs. Also, if you didn't do it yet, try the Polarg M4s for the front marker lights. I also replaced the high beams with PIAA Extreme white 9005s.

I got these and i totaly disagree they still dont match the HIDs i was disapointed, they still look yellow to me...

They're not a perfect match (not quite blue enough), but they're a much whiter light. PIAA Super Plasmas are reported to be a little too blue. Probably not possible to get a perfect match without switching to HID fogs, but Xtreme Whites look good.

I bought all my replacement PIAA lighting from www.optauto.com. They have good prices on bulbs in general and the shipping was pretty fast. PIAA bulbs are expensive though, so keep that in mind. If you're looking to spend $15 for bulbs, then you shouldn't be considering the PIAA brand

Make sure you get the stock wattage for the replacement bulbs, so you don't burn out your stock wiring harness. Unless you plan on upgrading it.

I looked there but all I didn't see any fog lights.


What is the stock wattage? Optauto has 35W and 55W bulbs.. not sure which to get.

Get 55w PIAA Xtreme White H3 fog light bulbs, I have had Super Whites and Xtreme Whites and the Xtremes are much whiter. Good luck!

Can we change the fog light bulbs on our vehicles without removing the bumper? I haven't taken the time to see how they are installed.

...Yes, you go in from the back, there is a good write up somewhere on here... You just need to jack up your front end on jack stands and pull back some of the 'undercarraige' plastic cladding under the front lip...

I didn't have to jack up the car. All you really need is some time.
