Dealer can't fix wind noise

I'm having that annoying wind noise from my back window behind the driver. The dealer said he taped it off up there and drove it and said the wind noise was still there. He told me he didn't want to mess with my allignment because it was so perfect. So basically he said deal with the wind noise.

Is there anyone one else that the windnoise TSB didn't work for?

wind noise tsb

i got mine fixed by nissan but they messed up the rubber molding . The rubber molding is not straight and does not align with the frame of the window . It looks like crap not a maxima. I took it back to nissan and they told me that there is nothing they can do. They said "wait a few more days...i'd rather have it like that than to have the wind noise"
sigh...

go to the page with the technical service bullentins TSB's and get the one regarding that problem it was from around 4/2000. take this to them and explain how they should do their job and whare to put their lips when they finish with the MAX! G/L

if you still have wind noise, then the door is not aligned properly. look at the bottom edge of the door frame, you see the 3M tape? Thats because the disturbed air will eventually screw up the paint. Now, if you have that disturbed air in another location, dirt will 'sand blast' that area of the door too

interesting Tim, but the dealer told me that the door is aligned perfect and that he didn't want to mess with it. I will look for paint disturbance. its only the one door behind the driver.
