Brake kit installed!!!!
After all the dry-fitting I had done in my two previous tries, I was kinda getting pretty good at it....got home last night at 5:30 and was done by 8, bleeding and everything. Looks flat-out awesome...pics will follow late this weekend after a get a camera from a friend. I cut the tolerances purrty damn close...I've about 1mm between the caliper and the spokes of my SSRs. But, that's all you need, eh?
Only problem is that the cad plate did not come off the rotors clean....it's balled up in some areas causing a bit of roughness, I'll wet sand the rotors tonight & get that cleaned up & it will be fine.
No squeals, nothing untowards. I swear the car rides better, too. Some of it may be optimism but..with 8 lbs of unsprung weight removed PER WHEEL, I'm sure some of it is real.

Wilwood 4-piston Superlite calipers
gripping Wilwood 12.9" x 1.25" two-piece rotors. Sorry I was'nt specific, but since I had posted on the kit a couple times befor, I wanted to avoid what some could consider grand-standing or post-whoring..

Offset is 38 as well, and yes indeed, if u have
the same wheels my recommendation is that you get the same kit but with the .81 thick rotor, not the 1.25" one, reason being because aside from having only 1mm clearance to the wheel spokes, I also had to grind 2mm off the tip of the lower A-arm (transverse link) to get the rotor to clear the A-arm so..if I were to do this again I would get the next-size thinner rotor -which is still PLENTY robust enough for our cars.
The smaller rotor will allow the caliper to be positioned inboard a bit more (aprox 6mm) and that will give you clearance aplenty....
