Mmmm...RSB = good
On the way to work today an Acura Integra-type (shaved tail, but think it was a last-gen model) pull out in front of me. We're coming up on a twisty section of road (as much as you can find in Houston!), and he cranks it up. I do too, since Integras are supposed to handle pretty well, and I'm curious.
Definitely fun - not only was there no problem staying with him, but coming into one big turn I see him hit his brakes, so I'm thinking "is that corner tighter than I think?" Nope - I go through like I expected to, and rocket up behind him (THEN I have to hit my brakes, because he's still accelerating ).
Only a couple minutes of play, but a nice start to the morning. And it's rare to see stories about Maximas that aren't in a straight line - but with a few mods, the 4-door boats can turn a little...

Good story there MaxiMax!! (would have been better though if it included an electric supercharger though)

Hey bud...how was the road surface? I have been toying with getting one, but have also heard on bumpy curves they can actually 'amplify' the rear end tendency to hop on the bumps.

Very smooth - and I bet the bumpy road problem you noted is true. With the RSB the back wheels have much less ability to act independently on bumps.

Hey, tell you what...come out my way and try driving from I-10 south to FM1093 on FM1489.
1489 is a blast with a bunch of curves, S-turns, and wide open straights with little/no cross traffic.

Coming from 288 going towards 610E there's a nice short ramp, but halfway through there's also an uneven surface (E.g. one slab of concrete is higher than the connecting slab). With the RSB on, the back definitely has a tendency to sway a lot more - if one is not careful you can easily lose control of the vehicle.

Try out the road a bit (only about 10 minutes out from Katy Mills) and maybe backtrack to Jillians or something around there....

I'd rather drive 70 miles a day all highway and get good mileage than go 5 miles a day in downtown stop-go traffic barely able to get 18mpg.
