Forget about Stillen, ATI Procharger has developed an intercooled centrifugal SC for the 350Z. You guys should be pushing for that setup. I saw the ATI 350Z at the track last Sunday (ATI is located in my town) and it was pulling 13.4s@108mph running on huge 19s with 5-6psi.

finding a location to mount the blower is another problem. 02 has variable cam and the module sits right on the timing chain cover. kinda hard to belt to go around it even though we found a way to mount it.

then we have the fuel return and finding a place to tap FMU into.

I talked to the rep from Procharger and they're thinking ~$4500 for the intercooled setup for the 350Z/G35. Not to bad considering this SC is interally lubricated (no oil taps) and it comes with an IC.

That would be a decent price but a vendor (forgot which one) on www.my350z.com says they are going for $5900, with an intro price of 5400.

Here's the link to the thread on www.my350z.com

http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthre...threadid=31281

Avalon Racing is the vendor that is selling them. The high price tag is causing a big uproar on the 350z message board.

BTW, you have to subscribe to view the thread.

Procharger has had so many issues in the Mustang world. I wonder if they are more reliable now. They were the biggest and cheapest POS blowers back then....

I wonder what a roots type/intake manifold blower would do though... the one thing that irritates me about centrifugal is not having full power on tap unless you're at full rpms. The beauty of having one on the intake manifold was full boost at low rpm's... the car flies from launch (of course, traction becomes a biatch too). Also, better low-end torque as a result too as opposed to centrifugal. BUT heat is a definite issue, so score +1 for the ATI kit on that one.
