im very excited brand new bumpers and hood..and muffler.. il do pictures tomorrow cuz now no more paint chips! and hopefully never again since its not nissan paint..but heres the deal..
on the rear bumpber where it meets the side panel..the paint looked a little raised to me..so i asked..whats the deal? they said it wasnt the paint it was the plastic on the bumper and that happens alot with nissan when they ship parts..the bumper was defective so they use it as a replacement part..and there was really nothing they could do to help me..mind u its not a huge deal..not really noticable, only to **** people like myself that is close to details..but u guys think i should take thsi up with nissan consumer affairs? any input is welcome
also..since i needed new bumpers, new hood, new muffler and a new front muffler pipe..and an alignment, anything you guys think i should look out for? to double check the work..thanks guys!

You paid for the bumper right? If so, I would definitely take it up with Nissan. When you pay good money for a part you expect it to be perfect, not some factory reject that wasn't good enough to go on a new car. Then again, I'm guessing you would need to pay the shop for the additional labor and paint to put the bumper on if Nissan sent you a good one. So you need to weigh whether or not it is worth it to you to go through the trouble and extra expense.

If the accident wasn't your fault, why did you have to pay the deductable?
