they towed my car yesterday....please help!!!

I went at the gas station yesterday (around 1.00 am)... i stopped my car in the side of parking lot... i went inside because i wanted to use the bathroom... when i finished after 10 minutes... i walked outside and i saw a tow truck to towed my car... i was like WTF?? this is my car and the guy told me "illegal parking" i was like "no it is not", blah blah... and he told "give me $70 and you will take it" i was like "i dont have $70, i have $30" he was like "no it is $70" after 10 minutes he took my car in their garage... i told this guy hold on a second i call the cops... he was like you can find a cop in the street... i was almost to kill him... so i follow him in their garage (i was with my friend)--(he never gave me a card with their garage, you know address, telephone numper, bussiness name) so after 2 f*****g hours i gave him the $70, i was like "i'll see you soon with my lawyer" and he was like "ok, any time"... im thinking about court BUT near in this gas station we do racing so i dont want trouble with the police... the parking lot in this gas station was full thats why i stopped my car in the side of parking lot... i want opinions guys!!! (my friend came later so what would happen if i was alone? he never gave a card this m**********r b***h)

Good luck.. sounds like you're making a lot more out of it than it's worth. Since you already paid the $70, never park there again.

And about the card... get over it. You were standing right there so it's not a federal offense to not give you a card.

You could call the whole thing "karma coming back at you" for doing illegal things in the area, and stop racing and move on with your life.

Sounds like the gas station owners are tired of people racing around and then loitering (not saying you were) in the parking lot. I'd take it up with the gas station management and see what they have to say. The tow truck driver was obviously towing your car at their request.

Hope he didn't damage your car during the tow!

Tony

don't add insult to injury. You paid the man 70 dollars. If you were to take this to court you need to show damages. 2 hours of your time is not damages... The guy got the better of you, do not let him get the 'best' of you, by wasting your time, effort, and more money. Crap happens, I hear you...

Just be happy you have the car back. Be careful next time around. And if your your still planning to take this event to court,All I gotta say is good luck. If I was you. I'd just eat the $70 and move on.
